Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated, confident and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to understand students' educational needs and guide them towards suitable learning programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with prospective students and understand their educational goals and requirements.
- Explain available courses, programme details, eligibility criteria, fees and admission procedures.
- Guide students in selecting suitable courses based on their interests and career objectives.
- Handle student enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain accurate enquiry records.
- Assist students throughout the admission and enrolment process.
- Maintain student databases and update records in the company's CRM or other systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth student experience.
- Meet assigned counselling, follow-up and enrolment targets, where applicable.
- Maintain qualified communication and protect confidential student information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; relevant qualifications in education, management or related fields are preferred.
- Freshers may apply if they demonstrate strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in academic counselling, student support, admissions, customer service or EdTech will be an advantage.

- Basic computer knowledge, including email, spreadsheets and data entry.
