Role Description This is a full time, on-site Video Editor role based in Bengaluru North.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into compelling video content for marketing campaigns, social media, product showcases, and brand storytelling. Day-to-day tasks include organizing footage, applying color correction and grading, incorporating motion graphics and text overlays, and ensuring that each video aligns with Waxys’ visual identity and brand message. The role involves close collaboration with the creative, marketing, and product teams to brainstorm concepts, refine scripts, and deliver polished content on schedule.

Editor will also optimize video formats for various platforms and maintain an organized media library.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing to plan shoots, manage footage, and create cohesive, engaging content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, enhance mood, and reflect the brand’s aesthetic.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design simple animations, titles, and visual elements that improve storytelling.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and understanding of social media and digital content formats are preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects and deadlines on-site in Bengaluru North.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, and prior experience in commercial or brand video editing is an advantage.
