Who are we looking for? Designation : Technical Project Manager Experience Range : 6+ years

What is the work?

- Manage daily activities across frontend, backend, mobile, and QA teams, ensuring explicit task assignments, priorities, requirements, and deadlines.
- Monitor development progress, follow up on outstanding tasks, identify delays and dependencies early, and resolve blockers.
- Ensure effective use of development capacity, maintain accountability, and follow tasks through to completion.
- Coordinate with the architect and senior developers for technical guidance and ensure smooth progress through development, code review, QA, and deployment.
- Manage development activities using BidZoo’s existing ClickUp workflow,



maintaining accurate task assignments, statuses, priorities, deadlines, and progress updates.
- Coordinate the development queue according to product lead priorities, track timelines, communicate realistic estimates, and prevent tasks from remaining unassigned or unnecessarily delayed.
- Coordinate testing, bug fixes, QA retesting, releases, production deployments, and outstanding technical issues.
- Adapt to changing priorities and urgent production issues while understanding technical progress rather than relying solely on developer updates.
- Maintain regular communication with the product lead through daily check-ins and concise updates on completed work, ongoing tasks, delays, blockers, and risks.
- Respond promptly during agreed working hours, follow up on outstanding questions, coordinate communication across teams, and escalate issues requiring decisions or intervention.
- Coordinate technical support and team coverage during live auction events, monitor platform issues, manage urgent fixes, and follow through on post-auction issues.
- Help maintain platform stability by ensuring critical production issues receive immediate attention.
- Maintain ClickUp tracking and reporting, provide visibility into development progress and team capacity, and monitor task completion times, throughput, and bottlenecks.
- Identify workflow improvements, obtain approval before introducing new tools or processes, and keep documentation practical and concise.
- Prioritize execution and delivery over administrative activities.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

- Minimum 6 years of combined experience in software development and technical project management, including direct responsibility for coordinating development teams.
- Hands-on software development experience or a robust technical engineering background,



with experience managing small to medium-sized development teams.
- Experience working on live web applications or software products with active users.
- Hands-on ClickUp experience is required, including task management, workflows, assignments, reporting, and development tracking.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including development, code review, QA, deployment, and production support.
- Experience coordinating frontend, backend, and QA teams; managing development queues, priorities, dependencies, and releases.
- Ability to understand technical issues, assess development progress, and communicate effectively with engineers.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal English communication, independent ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams, remote/offshore developers, and founders or product/operations leadership.
- Working knowledge of React, JavaScript, backend services, REST APIs, third-party integrations, payment systems, relational databases, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, cloud-hosted applications, production environments, mobile application releases, bug tracking, QA testing, and release management.
- Experience in startups or early-stage software companies, managing small teams with limited management layers.
- Experience with consumer-facing marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, transactional applications, or live production systems requiring reliability and rapid issue resolution.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies and AI-assisted development or productivity tools.
- Experience with Stripe or other payment integrations and familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification is preferred.
