Role Description The System Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruchirappalli, responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include managing servers, desktops, and business applications, ensuring systems are updated, secure, and performing efficiently. The role involves monitoring network connectivity, resolving hardware and software issues, and providing technical support to team members across sales, service, and spares operations.

The System

Administrator will configure and maintain user accounts, backups, and security controls,



and coordinate with external vendors or service providers when needed. This position requires proactive problem-solving, accurate documentation of IT assets and procedures, and collaboration with management to improve system reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in System Administration and Information Technology for managing servers, workstations, and core business applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software issues for end users.
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration to maintain LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity, routers, switches, and basic network security.
- Candidates should have knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), backup and recovery practices, and basic cybersecurity principles.
- Candidates should demonstrate good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site workplace.
- Candidates with relevant certifications (such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft/Linux administration) or a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field will be preferred.
