Bengaluru
Company: Legend of Toys
Location: Bangalore (in office, with travel to vendor sites)
Reports to: Program Manager, L.O.T. Build
Compensation: ₹8 to 12 LPA, based on experience
Experience: 3 to 6 years
About L.O.T. BuildL.O.T. Build is Legend of Toys’ new line of 2D and 3D wooden puzzles and build kits. It includes officially licensed collections (Harry Potter, DC, Looney Tunes and other Warner Bros. properties) and original designs. Every kit is designed and made in India.
We’re growing from an in-house workshop into a wider manufacturing network. We need someone who can make sure that what we promise customers on launch day is actually built, checked, packed and in the warehouse on time.
What you’ll ownProduction planning and capacity
- Turn the product roadmap and demand forecasts into a production plan, week by week and SKU by SKU
- Plan around laser-cutting capacity. Track machine hours, cut and engrave times per SKU, and how much each run yields
- Flag capacity shortfalls early, with options to fix them (extra shifts, outsourcing, changing the launch order)
- Co-ordinate with the NPD and central procurement for material readiness.
Vendor development and management
- Find, assess and bring on outside manufacturing partners (laser cutting, wood and MDF board, printing and decoration, packaging)
- Transfer production to new vendors: cutting files, fit tolerances, sample approval and first-article sign-off
- Run vendor scorecards on quality, on-time delivery, cost and responsiveness, and step in when a vendor is falling short
Procurement and materials
- Buy raw materials (plywood and MDF sheets, inserts, packaging, printed collateral) at the right cost and lead time
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs and payment terms, and keep a dependable second source for critical materials
- Keep material planning (BOMs, reorder points, safety stock) in step with production
Quality control
- Set QC checkpoints for incoming material,
production runs and finished kits: piece count, fit, engraving quality and packaging
- Bring defect and return rates down by fixing problems at the source, working with design and production
Inventory and fulfilment
- Own inventory accuracy across raw material, work in progress and finished goods
- Coordinate with the D2C and marketplace teams on stock for launches, limited drops and made-to-order runs
- Manage inbound logistics from vendors and outbound handover to the warehouse
What we’re looking forMust have
- 3 to 6 years in supply chain, production planning or procurement for a consumer product brand
- Hands-on experience managing outside manufacturers, including taking a new vendor from first sample to stable production
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills. You can build and run a production plan, capacity model and inventory tracker yourself
- Comfort on the factory floor. You’ll spend real time at vendor sites
- Clear communication in English and Hindi or Kannada for working with vendors
Good to have
- Experience with laser cutting, CNC, wood or MDF products, or kits made of many precise parts
- Background in a D2C startup, where launches are fast and volumes vary
- Familiarity with BIS certification or toy safety compliance
Who will do well here
- You plan ahead and spot problems early, before they turn into missed launches
- You’re comfortable with partial information and still commit to dates
- You hold vendors to high standards and keep good working relationships with them
- You care about the product. People pay us to build something beautiful, and every piece has to fit
Why join
- Build the supply chain for a new category from early on, with real ownership
- Work on officially licensed products from some of the world’s best-known entertainment brands
- Small, fast team with direct access to leadership
To apply: send your CV with a short note on a supply problem you solved and what you changed.
