Role Description The Software Tester role is a full-time, remote position responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of IFI’s digital platforms and applications. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing requirements, designing and executing test cases, performing functional and regression testing, and validating fixes across web and mobile interfaces.

The Software

Tester will document test results, track defects, and collaborate with developers, product owners, and designers to maintain a high-quality user experience for participants and viewers. The role also involves contributing to test plans, refining quality assurance processes,



and supporting release readiness for new features and updates.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Software Testing and Quality Assurance skills, with experience in structured testing processes.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Test Execution skills, including creating, running, and maintaining manual and automated test scenarios.
- Candidates should possess the ability to design transparent and comprehensive Test Cases aligned with product requirements and user flows.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to identify defects, uncover edge cases, and interpret test data effectively.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and test management systems is beneficial.
- Familiarity with testing web and mobile applications, including cross-browser and cross-device testing, is preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in remote, cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of basic financial or investment concepts and interest in entertainment or reality shows is a plus.
