Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Developer with robust expertise in cloud data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, data pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
- Develop and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake and integration tools.
- Create and manage Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, tasks, streams, and stored procedures.
- Implement data modeling techniques including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
- Optimize query performance, warehouse sizing, clustering, and cost management.
- Develop data ingestion frameworks for structured and semi-structured data.
- Work with cloud storage services such as Amazon S3, Azure Data Lake, or Google Cloud Storage.
- Implement data security, data governance, masking, and role-based access controls.




- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and data engineers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support activities.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Warehousing.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong SQL programming and query optimization skills.
- Experience with Snowflake Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Zero Copy Cloning, and Snowpipe.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, Matillion, DBT, or Azure Data Factory.
- Experience with Python or Shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with CI/CD and version control tools like Git.

Preferred Skills :

- SnowPro Certification.
- Experience with DBT.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks.
