Role Description The Service Associate role at MR DIY India is a full-time, in office position based in Gurugram.

The Service

Associate will support daily store operations by welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them to suitable products and promotions. This role includes handling customer queries and concerns, assisting with billing and payment processes, and maintaining accurate records of transactions.

Associate will help ensure shelves are well-stocked and displays are organized, while monitoring product quality and price labels.



The role also involves working closely with the store team to meet service standards, support sales targets, and uphold MR DIY’s commitment to a clean, safe, and engaging shopping environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage positively with diverse customers and support a welcoming store atmosphere.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills, including the ability to explain product features, offers, and policies in a simple, respectful manner.
- Candidates should possess sound Analytical Skills to understand customer needs, interpret basic store data, and assist in improving service and sales performance.
- Candidates should possess basic Finance-related skills, such as handling cash, processing electronic payments, and maintaining transaction accuracy.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior retail or front-line service experience, familiarity with point-of-sale systems, and the ability to stand and move around the store for extended periods.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
