Role Description The Senior Manager – EHV Transmission Line & Substations is a full time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for leading the design, planning, and implementation of Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission lines and substation projects that support RENGY’s rooftop and grid-integration initiatives.

The Senior

Manager oversees engineering studies, technical specifications, and design reviews, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, safety requirements, and utility regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners, resolving technical issues on-site, optimizing power system performance, and supervising installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The role also involves mentoring engineering teams, managing project timelines and budgets,



and contributing to strategic decisions related to network expansion and infrastructure reliability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of Electricity fundamentals for EHV transmission and substation systems.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Electrical Design, including layout planning, protection schemes, and equipment selection for transmission lines and substations.
- Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of Power Systems, including load flow, fault analysis, grid integration, and system reliability.
- Candidates should possess practical Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues in high-voltage equipment and installations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Significant experience in EHV transmission line and substation projects, including design, construction, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with national and international standards, safety codes, and regulatory requirements for high-voltage infrastructure.
- Strong project management capabilities, including stakeholder coordination, documentation, and risk management.
- Ability to lead and develop engineering teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners, and work on-site as needed.
- Experience in renewable energy integration or rooftop solar projects is an added advantage.
