Role Description The Senior Lean Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role involves leading lean management and operational excellence initiatives for MSME clients, including conducting assessments, mapping processes, identifying waste, and designing improvement plans.

The Senior Lean

Consultant will facilitate workshops, coach client teams on lean tools and methodologies, and support the implementation of best practices across operations. Typical responsibilities include collaborating with client leadership to align improvement projects with business objectives, tracking performance metrics,



and preparing reports and presentations that clearly communicate progress and impact. The role also includes mentoring junior consultants and contributing to the development of DVBC’s methodologies and knowledge base.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Lean Management and Operational Excellence to drive process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Candidates should possess proven Consulting and Management Consulting experience, preferably working with SMEs or MSMEs on strategic and operational projects.
- Candidates should possess effective Coaching abilities to guide client teams, facilitate workshops, and support behavioral and cultural change toward continuous improvement.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business, operations management, or a related field; lean or Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work on-site with diverse client teams in a fast-paced workplace.
- Experience in Indian MSME environments and familiarity with resource constraints, working capital challenges, and talent development needs will be beneficial.
