Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to deliver electrical design for Zyeta’s corporate interior and fit-out projects. You will develop designs, calculations and drawings from concept to GFC stage, working closely with the Electrical Design Manager and the wider MEP and design teams. This is a core design role for an engineer who enjoys hands-on design, accurate calculations and well-coordinated drawings.

Key Responsibilities 1.

Electrical

Design •

- Design development: Prepare electrical designs across concept, schematic, tender and GFC stages. •
- Calculations: Carry out load, cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit, earthing and lighting calculations. •
- Drawings: Prepare and check single line diagrams, power and lighting layouts, panel schedules, raceway and earthing drawings. •
- Lighting: Develop lighting layouts and lux simulations, including lighting controls and emergency lighting. •
- ELV provisions: Provide power and containment for fire alarm, access control, CCTV, data and AV systems.

- Specifications and BOQ: Prepare technical specifications, quantity take-offs and BOQs for tender. •
- Codes and standards: Design to NBC 2016, CEA Regulations, relevant IS / IEC standards and landlord fit-out guidelines. •

- Support •
- Multi-discipline coordination: Coordinate with architecture, interiors, HVAC, plumbing and fire-fighting teams; resolve clashes in BIM models. •
- Vendor submittals: Review technical submittals, shop drawings and equipment data sheets. •
- Site support: Respond to site queries and support testing, commissioning and as-built documentation. •
- Mentoring: Guide junior designers and draughtspersons on drawings and calculations.

Qualifications &

Experience •

Experience: 6–10 years in electrical design for building services. •
- Industry: Corporate interior fit-out, commercial offices or design and build firms preferred
- MEP consultancy experience also relevant. •
- Technical knowledge: Sound understanding of LV distribution, protection devices, lighting design, UPS and DG systems, and earthing. •
- Codes: Working knowledge of NBC 2016, CEA Regulations, IS 732 and IS 3043. •
- Software: AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- DIALux or Relux
- Navisworks exposure preferred. •

Skills: Attention to detail, clear communication and the ability to deliver to project timelines. •
