Senior Test Engineer / Test Manager (GS8) 2B

Field of Activity:

- As part of an Identity and Access Management (IAM) service team, you will serve as a Senior Test Engineer or Test Manager supporting the validation and assurance of security and identity governance solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to lead testing efforts for IAM platform implementations, focusing on end-to-end test planning, execution, and reporting. You will validate integrations between IAM components such as SailPoint IdentityIQ, CyberArk, and other connected systems to ensure functionality, compliance, and performance. This role contributes to the client’s cybersecurity posture by ensuring high-quality, policy-compliant IAM deployments. You will collaborate closely with IAM developers, application teams, and stakeholders to align testing strategies with business and security requirements.
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer / Test Manager to join our IAM service delivery team. The role involves designing, managing, and executing test plans for identity and access management platforms, especially focusing on the integration of SailPoint IdentityIQ and CyberArk solutions.



You will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed test strategies, scripts, and documentation for onboarding and access management use cases. This includes both functional and non-functional testing of IAM connectors, access workflows, provisioning logic, and security integrations.
- In addition to hands-on testing, you will manage test cycles, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and track issues through resolution. Experience with IAM processes and standards, including RBAC, SoD, and identity lifecycle management, is essential. A working knowledge of CyberArk, IGA/CyberArk integration points, and industry best practices will be beneficial.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for IAM solutions, including SailPoint IdentityIQ and CyberArk integrations.
- Validate identity lifecycle processes such as provisioning, de-provisioning, certification, and access reviews.
- Perform integration testing for connectors and security tools (e.g., SCIM, REST-based APIs).
- Ensure alignment with IAM policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Manage end-to-end test cycles and coordinate with development and IAM architecture teams.
- Perform defect triaging and support debugging alongside developers and support teams.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and quality metrics.
- Track and manage testing activities using tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.




- Ensure test coverage of CyberArk integrations including privileged access onboarding and vault operations.
- Lead regression testing and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
- Provide regular test status reports, test summaries, and risk assessments to project stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, tools, and practices.

Qualifications/Required Skills:

- 5 - 8 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years in IAM platform testing.
- Strong understanding of IAM processes and standards (e.g., identity lifecycle, RBAC, SoD, access certification).
- Hands-on experience in testing SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or CyberArk implementations.
- Familiarity with IGA/CyberArk integration points (e.g., credential vaulting, session management).
- Knowledge of integration protocols (REST, SCIM, LDAP, SOAP).
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr).
- Understanding of security and compliance requirements in enterprise environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams and stakeholders.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Basic scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, BeanShell, or Java) is a plus.
