Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Account Executive having experience in Public Relations to join our Mumbai team. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in public relations, media relations and client servicing, with strong writing skills, an understanding of the media landscape and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day execution of PR campaigns and communication activities for assigned clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors and relevant media stakeholders.
- Draft and edit press releases, media pitches, briefing notes, talking points, Q&As; and other communication materials.
- Drive media outreach, secure relevant coverage and track media opportunities across print, digital and broadcast platforms.
- Monitor news,



industry developments and client mentions to identify proactive communication opportunities.
- Prepare media coverage reports, campaign updates, monthly reports and other client deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely execution of communication plans and campaign milestones.
- Support the development of media strategies, campaign ideas and communication plans.
- Conduct media research, prepare journalist databases and develop competitor and industry analyses.
- Ensure accuracy, quality and consistency across all client-facing communication materials.

Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in public relations, corporate communications or a PR agency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valuable understanding of the Indian media landscape and established media relations skills.
- Ability to draft compelling communication materials with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational, coordination and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask, work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, teamwork and client servicing.
- Familiarity with media monitoring, coverage tracking and reporting tools.
