Role Description The Security Officer – Port & Logistics Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai. The role involves monitoring port and logistics facilities, access points, and restricted areas to ensure safety and security at all times.

The Security

Officer will conduct routine patrols, oversee vehicle and personnel entry, verify documentation, and respond to alarms or incidents in accordance with company procedures. Daily tasks include coordinating with operations and logistics teams, maintaining incident and shift reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and security regulations. The role also includes supporting emergency preparedness, assisting in investigations, and recommending improvements to physical security measures.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards at project sites.




- Conduct daily safety inspections, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
- Ensure safe operations of Reach Stackers, RTGs, MHCs, Cranes, Trailers, ITVs, and other heavy equipment.
- Identify workplace hazards and conduct Risk Assessments (HIRA/JSA).
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements and client-specific HSE guidelines.
- Monitor driver safety, PPE compliance, traffic management, and equipment safety.
- Conduct safety audits, maintain HSE documentation, and prepare daily/monthly safety reports.
- Coordinate with client HSE teams, operations managers, and site management.
- Promote a solid safety culture with a Zero Harm approach.

Qualification & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Experience: 3–7 years in Logistics, Port Operations, Container Terminals, Transportation, or Heavy Equipment Operations.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, occupational safety regulations, and HSE management systems.
- Experience in incident investigation, safety audits, and emergency response.
- Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites across India.

Preferred CandidateCandidates with previous experience at Port Terminals, ICDs, CFSs, Container Yards, Mining, Steel Plants, or Heavy Equipment Operations will be preferred.
