Do you have hands-on expertise in SAP MDG and SAP S/4HANA Finance, and a passion for using robust data models, workflows, and validation rules to improve finance master data quality and support finance transformation? The SAP MDG Specialist is a senior SME role within the SAP Finance Centre of Excellence, responsible for

- governing and maintaining high-quality finance master data across the SAP landscape
- managing master data operations, configuring and enhancing MDG workflows
- controls, resolving data quality issues, supporting finance transformation initiatives, driving process improvements, and mentoring team members

The team

You'll join the ampliFi Finance Change team within the Transition Crew, a global team responsible for delivering a critical component of the ampliFi transformation program. You will be part of the SAP Transformation team, partnering with Finance, Architecture, Testing, Deployment, and Change teams in a collaborative environment to deliver large-scale transformation outcomes.

Your skills and experience

• ideally 8-12 years of SAP experience with significant MDG expertise and Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field

- strong hands-on SAP MDG experience, including data modelling, workflows, and validation rules
- good understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and finance master data
- knowledge of MDG integrations across applications such as PAPM, FPSL, FSDM, Group Reporting, BW/SAC, Ariba, Fieldglass, and Concur
- experience with data governance frameworks, data migration, and finance transformation programs
- ability to work independently and engage effectively with business and technology stakeholders




- SAP MDG certification is desirable but not mandatory
- you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment, validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards and ethical use
