Role Summary

CereBulb is looking for skilled Automation Software Engineers with hands-on experience on Industrial Automation, PLC / RTU / SCADA development, PLC / RTU / Instrumentation integration, PLC programming and web-based cloud application deployment for industrial solutions and software. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Wonderware, AVEVA System Platform, Tailwind SCADA, and Schneider systems like EcoStruxure Automation Platform, EcoStruxure Process Expert, Ecostruxure automation expert for designing, commissioning, and supporting automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain SCADA/HMI applications using Wonderware and AVEVA System Platform.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot Schneider PLC systems.
- Design, implement, and support Tailwind SCADA applications.
- Integrate PLC, SCADA, and industrial communication systems.
- Perform testing, commissioning, and in office support for automation projects.
- Troubleshoot automation and control system issues to ensure reliable plant operations.
- Prepare technical documentation, commissioning reports, and system backups.
- Coordinate with project, electrical, and instrumentation teams for successful project execution.

Basic core required criteria and skills:

- 3–5 years of experience in Industrial software and Automation.
- Strong working knowledge of Wonderware.
- Experience with AVEVA System Platform.
- Hands-on experience in Tailwind SCADA.




- Proficiency in Schneider Electric RTU / Process Controllers / Communication / Programming and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, etc.
- Willingness to travel for project commissioning as and when required.
- Additional instrumentation background would be added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- System Design & Programming: Develop and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Integration: Integrate field instrumentation, sensors, Frequency Drives (VFD’s), and other actuators in electrical network / Water management system and Integrated Command and control Centre.
- Testing & Commissioning: Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and on-site system commissioning to ensure equipment reliability and safety compliance.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose hardware and software faults on the shop floor to minimize unplanned equipment downtime and complete the project with on time delivery.
- Documentation: Create and update electrical schematics, functional design specifications (FDS), and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Education: Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics & Communication (EC), or Instrumentation & Control (IC)

- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in RTU / PLC / SCADA programming software (e.g., Schneider Electric, AVEVA, Tailwind SCADA), and industrial networks.
- Hardware Expertise: Added advantage if familiarity persist with VFDs, control panel wiring, and field instrumentation devices.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving under pressure, and cross-functional collaboration with mechanical and IT teams.
- Cloud based deployment: Fundamental knowledge in deployment, specification, data management, Cyber security and integration of virtual platform.
