Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Safety Officer role based in Barharia.

The Safety

Officer will oversee daily health and safety practices across transport and logistics operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities include conducting routine safety inspections, monitoring working conditions, and identifying potential hazards. The role also involves coordinating incident and accident investigations, maintaining safety records, and preparing reports for management.

The Safety

Officer will deliver safety training and awareness sessions, support occupational health initiatives,



and collaborate with operations and security teams to promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage and implement Health & Safety programs and Occupational Health initiatives.
- Skills in Accident Investigation, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Knowledge of Security practices related to logistics operations and workplace safety.
- Experience delivering Safety Training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for diverse teams.
- Understanding of transportation and logistics safety regulations and industry standards.
- Robust observation, documentation, and risk assessment skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with drivers, warehouse staff, and management.
- Diploma or degree in safety management, occupational health, or a related field; professional safety certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a safety role within logistics, transportation, or industrial operations is preferred.
