About us
Discreet Solutions makes smart video door phones, digital door locks and wireless sensors under the brands Onetouch and Coalesce. We work with system integrators, architects, interior designers, consultants and builders to bring these products into homes and projects.
About the role
Your success will be measured on regional revenue, current partners added, and project wins through architects, builders and system integrators.
What you'll do
- Plan and deliver the regional sales target
- Lead, coach and review your sales team, and help hire and train new members
- Build strong relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, builders and system integrators
- Plan calls, meetings and product demos with your team, and close deals
- Keep the pipeline moving with timely follow-ups
- Update all sales activity in Zoho CRM
- Share market and competitor insights with marketing and product teams
- Resolve customer and partner issues during the sales process
- Present regular sales performance reports to senior management
What we're looking for
- 4-7 years in B2B or channel sales,
including 3+ years directly managing a sales team
- Experience selling security, home automation, electrical, electronic or building/interior products to architects, builders or system integrators
- An active network of SIs, dealers, architects or builders in [region]
- Proficient in basic English communication and at least one regional language (Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi or Telugu).
- Comfortable working on a CRM (Zoho preferred) and reporting with numbers
- Open to frequent travel within the region
This role is not the right fit if
- Your sales experience is mainly tele-calling, inside sales or retail counter sales
- You haven't directly managed a sales team
- You're not open to regular field travel
