About the role

We are hiring a QA Engineer with at least 2 years of experience to own quality across our SaaS web application and React Native mobile apps: combining test automation with manual and exploratory testing, knowing when each is the right tool, and reporting and prioritizing bugs.

Responsibilities

- Write and maintain automated tests for web UI (cross-browser), APIs and mobile; build regression and smoke suites that run in CI/CD
- Test React Native apps on iOS and Android (real devices, simulators, emulators), covering screen sizes, OS versions, permissions, push notifications and offline mode
- Write test plans and test cases; run functional, regression and exploratory testing
- Log clear, reproducible bug reports with steps, expected vs. actual results, setting and screenshots/logs
- Set bug severity and priority with product and engineering, and track bugs to resolution
- Test alongside developers within each sprint, catching issues early rather than just before release Requirements




- Minimum 2 years of experience in software QA, ideally on a SaaS product
- Test automation scripting in any common language (e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript or Python)
- Sound judgment on when to automate a test and when manual testing is the better choice
- Web automation with Playwright, Cypress or Selenium
- Mobile testing of React Native apps, with Appium or Detox
- API testing with Postman or similar tools
- Experience with issue-tracking tools, Git and CI/CD pipelines in an Agile/Scrum team
- Solid testing fundamentals: test design techniques, regression strategy, the test pyramid
- Good written and spoken English

- Cloud device testing with BrowserStack
- Performance testing (JMeter), security basics (OWASP Top 10) and SQL
- TestFlight and Google Play internal testing
- ISTQB Foundation certification
