About the RoleLuman Industries Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager – Quality Assurance to lead and strengthen Quality Assurance operations across our three manufacturing locations in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in an IATF 16949-certified manufacturing environment, with strong technical expertise in automotive quality management systems, advanced quality tools, audit compliance and continuous improvement.

This leadership position requires a qualified capable of driving quality excellence, ensuring customer and regulatory compliance, and effectively managing a team of 10–15 Quality Assurance professionals.

Key Responsibilities1. Quality Assurance Leadership & Management

- Lead and manage Quality Assurance operations across three manufacturing locations in Pantnagar.
- Guide, mentor and develop a QA team of 10–15 members.
- Develop and implement quality plans, strategies and processes aligned with organizational objectives.
- Strengthen quality ownership, accountability and operational effectiveness.

2. Quality Management Systems & IATF 16949 Compliance

- Ensure adherence to IATF 16949 standards and applicable customer and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain continuous audit readiness across QA operations.
- Lead and coordinate IATF 16949 and customer audits.
- Strengthen quality management systems,



documentation and process compliance.

3. Advanced Quality Tools & Technical Excellence

- Drive effective implementation of automotive quality tools and methodologies, including:
- APQP – Advanced Product Quality Planning
- PPAP – Production Part Approval Process
- FMEA – Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
- SPC – Statistical Process Control
- MSA – Measurement System Analysis
- 8D Problem-Solving Methodology
- Utilize quality management software and data-driven analysis to monitor and improve quality performance.
- Support effective problem-solving and quality improvement across manufacturing processes.

4. Continuous Improvement & Process Quality

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance product quality, process consistency and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address product and process quality requirements.
- Promote a proactive, prevention-focused quality culture.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination & Customer Quality

- Work closely with Production, Engineering and other relevant departments to achieve quality objectives.
- Ensure timely coordination on customer quality requirements.
- Support customer audits and quality-related reviews.




- Strengthen communication and collaboration between the QA function and other departments.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in an IATF 16949-certified company.
- In-depth working knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and 8D methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead, manage and mentor a Quality Assurance team of 10–15 members.
- Experience in quality audits, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in quality management software, reporting and data-driven analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
