About the Role

We are looking for a Python Engineer with solid hands-on experience in data processing, transformation, and analysis, along with practical exposure to Generative AI technologies such as embeddings, vector search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling data workflows, building reliable data-processing pipelines, and contributing to production-ready AI/ML applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and transform structured data using Python, NumPy, and pandas.
- Work with CSV, JSON, and Parquet datasets, handling missing values, duplicates, inconsistent data types, and malformed records.
- Perform joins, aggregations, vectorized operations, and data validation.
- Optimize data processing for dataset size, memory usage, and execution time.
- Work with embeddings, vector databases/search, document ingestion, and RAG pipelines.
- Develop, debug, and maintain reliable data-processing and AI/LLM workflows.





Required Skills

- 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, NumPy, and pandas.
- Experience with Jupyter Notebooks or similar analytical environments and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
- Practical experience with data cleaning, transformation, validation, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of dataset memory constraints and efficient data processing.
- Hands-on exposure to embeddings, vector search, document ingestion, or RAG-based applications.
- Ability to independently own tasks, troubleshoot issues, and explain technical decisions clearly.

Good to Have

- Experience with vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, or Chroma.
- Familiarity with LLM frameworks and document-processing pipelines.
- Experience deploying or maintaining production AI/ML applications.
