Role Description
This is a full time, on-site role for a Purchase Specialist located in Mumbai. The Purchase Specialist will be responsible for executing and managing purchasing processes, preparing and verifying purchase orders, and maintaining supplier relationships.
The role also involves ensuring compliance with procurement policies, analyzing purchasing data, and optimizing procurement strategies to meet the organization's operational needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchasing
- Experience in creating, reviewing, and managing Purchase Orders
- Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating procurement strategies and optimizing operations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of the shipping industry or maritime procurement is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
