Western Heat & Forge Pvt. Ltd. (WHF) is looking for a forging production leader to drive end-to-end forging operations with a robust focus on output, quality, OTD, safety and cost.

? Production Planning & Execution

- Lead end-to-end close die forging operations to achieve daily and monthly targets as per PPC plan.
- Ensure strict schedule adherence and on-time output; control shop floor activities for smooth execution.

? Resource Utilisation & Productivity
- Optimise manpower, machine and material use; balance line capacity and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Reduce cycle time, improve throughput and yield through Lean, Kaizen and TPM practices.

? Quality & Rejection Reduction
- Monitor rejection and rework levels; implement CAPA with the Quality team.
- Ensure compliance with ISO / IATF / API standards and maintain process capability.

? Safety & 5S




- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and promote a zero-incident culture.
- Implement and sustain 5S; conduct regular safety audits and training.

? Cost Control & Coordination
- Control production costs including energy, machine downtime and consumables usage.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, PPC and Dispatch for uptime, process control and timely delivery.

? Team Management & Development
- Lead and develop shop-floor supervisors and operators; train operators for multi-skilling.
- Drive team productivity, discipline, accountability and a performance culture.

✅ Must Have Requirement:
- Good knowledge of Hot Forging Oil & Gas Industry products manufacturing
- Hands-on experience leading forging shop floor production (5 years in Leadership role)
- In-depth production process knowledge of close die forging Hammers and Presses
- Proven record of achieving production targets and schedule adherence
- Working knowledge of ISO / IATF 16949 / API standards and CAPA
- Strong team leadership, multi-shift manpower handling and safety focus
