Role Description The Overseas Counsellor – Ed Tech Sales at EJT is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. The role involves counseling prospective students and families about overseas education options, aligning their academic goals with suitable programs and institutions. The counsellor will manage end-to-end sales cycles for ed tech solutions, including lead generation, follow-ups, conducting consultations (in-person and via phone or online), and closing enrollments.
Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, preparing and presenting customized course and university recommendations, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission and onboarding process.
The role also requires meeting defined sales targets, participating in promotional events or seminars, and consistently delivering professional, ethical guidance to diverse applicants.
Qualifications
- Strong counselling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand student aspirations and recommend appropriate overseas education pathways.
- Demonstrated experience in sales or business development, preferably in ed tech, education consulting, or related service industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to build trust with students and families.
- Competence in using CRM tools, office productivity software, and online communication platforms to manage leads and consultations.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and follow-up processes.
- Knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, and visa requirements is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in a target-driven workplace, with a proactive, positive, and professional approach to client engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, business, or counseling is an advantage.
- Prior experience in overseas education counselling or ed tech sales is preferred but committed learners with relevant skills are encouraged to apply.
