Western Heat & Forge Pvt. Ltd. (WHF) is strengthening its New Product Development team for oil & gas industry product manufacturing / machined components CNC turning, VMC and HMC.

? Project Co-ordination

- Drive NPD projects from RFQ to production launch: schedules, critical path, milestones and handover.
- Coordinate PPC, Purchase, QA and Production; track risks, project costs and customer approvals.

? Fixture, Tool & Gauge Design
- Design fixtures, pallets, special cutting tools and GO/NO-GO gauges for CNC/VMC/HMC operations.
- Prepare 3D models, drawings and BOMs; coordinate with suppliers and support trials and gauge validation.

? Tooling / Application




- Select and qualify tool packages; run supplier trials and validate cutting data on difficult alloys.
- Analyses tool wear and failures; optimise tool life, cost per part and critical tool availability.

? Documentation / Planning Execution
- Control drawing revisions, ERP master data (BOM/routing) and technical dossiers from RFQ to handover.
- Track purchase follow-ups, material and readiness status; prepare daily/weekly reports and action trackers.

✅ Must Have Requirement:
- Oil & gas, Defense machining components experience
- Hands-on New Product Development in machining industry experience (CNC, VTL, VMC, HMC)
- In-depth knowledge of Threading, Grooving, Keyway, cavity operations
- Robust knowledge of drawings, GD&T; and revision control
- Working knowledge of CAD, Solid works, Google Sheet, ERP and Excel/reporting tools
- Supplier coordination and cross-functional communication skills
- Strong knowledge of fixtures, tooling, process and cycle time of machining
