Role Description This is a full-time, in office Mechanical Engineer role based in Kochi.

The Mechanical

Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and validating mechanical systems and components for industrial, commercial, and residential projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety requirements. Daily tasks include preparing detailed mechanical layouts and specifications, performing calculations, reviewing drawings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams such as process, civil, structural, and electrical engineers.



The role involves using CAD tools for machine and equipment design, supporting R&D; activities for process improvements, and providing technical input for proposals, plant modifications, and expansion projects.

The Mechanical

Engineer will also assist in project planning, monitoring progress, coordinating with clients and vendors, and contributing to documentation and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to industrial, commercial, and residential projects.
- Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and reviewing detailed mechanical drawings and models.
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, coordination with stakeholders, and monitoring deliverables.
- Exposure to Research and Development (R&D;) activities, process optimization, and innovation in mechanical systems and equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable to mechanical and process engineering projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional engineering and client teams.
- Prior experience in consulting, process plants, or multidisciplinary engineering projects is an advantage.
