Role Description This is a full-time, in office Mechanical Engineer role based in Ahmedabad.

The Mechanical

Engineer will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and optimizing mechanical components and systems related to water pumps and associated showroom equipment. Daily activities include creating and reviewing engineering drawings, conducting performance analysis, supporting installation and maintenance teams, and collaborating with sales staff to provide technical input on product selection. The role also involves coordinating with suppliers and internal teams on product improvements, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring that designs comply with safety,



quality, and efficiency standards.

The Mechanical

Engineer is expected to document technical findings, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and support customer satisfaction through reliable engineering solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles, including fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
- Experience in Machine Design and mechanical component selection for pumps or similar equipment.
- Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying 2D and 3D models.
- Ability to manage tasks using basic Project Management practices, including planning, scheduling, and coordination.
- Exposure to Research and Development (R&D;) activities, such as performance testing and product improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices in mechanical systems.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Hands-on experience with pump systems, installation, or maintenance is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and adapt to a showroom and field-support environment.
