Position - Mechanical Designer
Location - Vashi, Navi Mumbai
Qualifications - I.T.I / Diploma - Mechanical
Experience - 5–8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with hands-on experience in Storage Tank and Pressure Vessel drawings and proficiency in CAD systems.
Responsibilities:
- Work on engineering projects, review specifications, and follow them.
- Complete work on time with acceptable quality.
- Prepare drawings/documents thoroughly in compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain and manage quality systems.
- Train subordinates.
- Strictly adhere to the company’s value system.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of projects, individuals, and the company.
- Ensure consistency in drafting styles across drawings as per drafting standards.
- Coordinate drafting workload with the drafting supervisor and project managers as needed to support the prevailing workload.
- Have knowledge of industry mechanical drafting techniques.
- Self-check and correct all work before submitting it to the project designers for checking.
Skills and Software Knowledge Required:
- Competent in using computer software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of and familiarity with Indian and international standards.
- Knowledge of drafting techniques, tools, and principles involved in preparing drawings.
- Compliance with design code API 650, project specifications, and standards.
