Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Technical Trainer / Lead Technical Trainer with 15+ years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), FATP, or high-volume manufacturing environments. The role will lead the organization's technical capability development strategy for both Direct Labour (DL) and Indirect Labour (IDL) employees across SMT, Assembly, Testing, Packaging, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Manufacturing Excellence, and Production Support functions.

The incumbent will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide technical training frameworks, competency development programs, leadership capability initiatives, certification systems, and workforce transformation projects that support operational excellence, quality improvement, productivity enhancement, and future manufacturing readiness.

Experience:

- 15+ years of overall experience in Technical Training, Manufacturing Operations, Learning & Development, Capability Building, or Organizational Development.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in EMS/FATP or Electronics Manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience leading large-scale workforce competency development and technical capability-building initiatives.
- Strong exposure to training strategy, training governance, skill certification frameworks, and manufacturing transformation projects.
- Experience in managing technical trainers, training coordinators, or L&D; teams is preferred.
- Experience working with global customers, audits, and industry standards is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in EEE, ECE, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Master's Degree or Post-Graduate Certification in Learning & Development, Operations Management, or Manufacturing Excellence is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Training Strategy & Capability Development

- Define and drive the organization's technical capability development roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Develop structured competency frameworks for DL, IDL, Technicians, Engineers, Supervisors, and Functional Leaders.




- Lead enterprise-wide technical training and certification programs.
- Establish career progression and skill-upgradation pathways across manufacturing functions.
- Partner with leadership teams to identify current and future workforce capability requirements.

Training Design & Delivery

- Deliver advanced technical training, leadership workshops, train-the-trainer programs, and capability enhancement initiatives.
- Design and standardize technical training modules, SOPs, work instructions, e-learning content, videos, and knowledge repositories.
- Develop and implement blended learning solutions utilizing classroom, shop-floor, digital, and experiential learning methodologies.
- Facilitate technical knowledge transfer programs across plants and functions.

Manufacturing Excellence & Continuous Improvement

- Conduct capability development programs in SMT, Assembly, Testing, Packaging, Quality, Reliability, and Manufacturing Systems.
- Drive workforce readiness initiatives supporting automation, Industry 4.0, and digital manufacturing.
- Enable productivity improvement, defect reduction, and quality enhancement through structured training interventions.
- Partner with Manufacturing Excellence teams to deploy Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence methodologies.

Competency Assessment & Governance

- Establish training governance mechanisms, competency matrices, certification frameworks, and skill audit systems.
- Lead technical certification assessments and workforce qualification programs.
- Monitor effectiveness through training KPIs, productivity improvements, quality metrics, and employee skill enhancement.
- Ensure audit readiness for customer, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with Operations,



Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, HR, and Senior Leadership teams.
- Engage with external training partners, certification bodies, educational institutions, and industry forums.
- Mentor trainers, supervisors, engineers, and functional leaders on capability-building initiatives.
