Role Description

Are you a seasoned strategic growth leader with an instinct for brand positioning, digital marketing ecosystems, and a track record of expanding agency revenue? Do you excel at shaping commercial strategy, commanding C-suite pitch rooms, and unlocking high-value enterprise opportunities?

We are seeking a Business Development Lead to spearhead Black Cab’s growth engine. In this pivotal leadership role, you will own the business development roadmap, lead high-stakes pitch cycles, and build long-term, high-value partnerships across the digital, luxury, and premium brand landscape. Working directly with agency leadership and cross-functional teams, you will champion our 360° service matrix, define pitch strategies, and drive top-line revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Formulate and execute the overarching business development strategy to consistently meet or exceed agency revenue, profitability, and market expansion targets.
- Architect and oversee the end-to-end sales pipeline—from strategic prospecting and qualification to pitch leadership, contract negotiation, and closure.
- Identify, target, and convert high-value accounts across luxury, lifestyle, consumer, and premium corporate sectors.
- Champion major agency pitches, acting as the primary strategic voice in front of prospective clients (CMOs, Brand Directors, and Founders).
- Partner with strategy, design, performance marketing, and production heads to architect tailored, high-impact pitch decks, RFPs, and commercial proposals.
- Structure competitive,



high-margin commercial frameworks, including retainer models, project-based scopes of work, and performance-based incentive structures.
- Cultivate and nurture trusted, executive-level relationships with prospective and existing high-net-worth/brand decision-makers.
- Analyze existing client accounts in collaboration with Account Management to unlock cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across digital marketing, content, and strategy services.
- Set the standard for current client onboarding, ensuring seamless alignment and knowledge transfer between the BD team and account delivery leads.
- Monitor digital marketing shifts, luxury consumer behavior, media consumption trends, and emerging platforms to keep Black Cab’s pitch positioning sharp and industry-leading.
- Represent Black Cab as a brand ambassador at major industry events, panel discussions, and premium networking forums.
- Conduct post-pitch evaluations with internal leadership and prospective clients to continually refine our service offerings, pitch collateral, and conversion rates.

Requirements

- 5–9 years of progressive, results-driven business development or consultative growth experience specifically within a digital marketing or multidisciplinary creative agency setting (Mandatory).
- Proven experience delivering revenue targets, securing high-value multi-channel retainers, and winning competitive pitch cycles against top agency players.
- Deep expertise across the full digital marketing spectrum—including performance marketing, Strong fluency in agency financial models, pitch economics, scope-of-work (SOW) drafting, and contract negotiation.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with the gravitas required to engage, influence, and negotiate with senior decision-makers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Strategic Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Highly network-driven, self-motivated, and capable of leading multidisciplinary pitch teams under tight deadlines.
