Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Project Cost & Revenue Manager to support project planning, budgeting, cost estimation, resource management, and project execution. The role involves working closely with the management, project teams, and development team to ensure projects are planned efficiently, executed within budget, delivered on schedule, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

· Assist in preparing project cost estimates, budgets, and revenue projections for current and ongoing projects.

· Work closely with management to finalize project pricing, commercial feasibility, and profitability.

· Collaborate with Development Teams and Technical Leads to estimate project effort, timelines, and resource requirements.

· Plan and allocate project resources based on project priorities, workload, and business requirements.

· Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and delivery timelines.

· Monitor project progress against approved plans and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

· Track project costs, resource utilization, and budget consumption throughout the project lifecycle.

· Identify schedule delays, cost overruns, resource constraints, and project risks, and recommend corrective actions.

· Coordinate with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and effective communication.

· Prepare and present project status reports, budget reports, utilization reports, and management dashboards.

· Ensure project documentation, budgeting records, and resource allocation reports are maintained accurately.





· Monitor project profitability by tracking planned versus actual costs and revenues.

· Support management in capacity planning, workforce forecasting, and project pipeline analysis.

· Ensure adherence to organizational project management standards, processes, and quality requirements.

· Assist in improving project planning methodologies, cost optimization strategies, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Competencies

· Strong understanding of project budgeting, cost estimation, and financial planning.

· Knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning, and workload management.

· Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

· Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

· Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and project management tools (e.g., Zoho Projects, Jira, Microsoft Project, ClickUp, or similar).

· Ability to analyze project metrics and generate management reports.

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, business administration, project management, finance, or a related field.

Project management certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience

3–5 years of experience in Project Coordination, Project Planning, Project Costing, PMO, Operations, Business Analysis, or a related role.

Freshers with exceptional analytical skills, internship experience, or relevant project exposure may also be considered.
