Role Description The Junior Video Editor – Powai will support the creation of engaging video content for Imarticus Learning’s educational and marketing initiatives. This full-time, on-site role located in Pune Division involves editing raw footage into polished videos, adding basic motion graphics, and ensuring visual consistency across projects. Daily tasks include organizing and selecting clips, trimming and sequencing footage, applying transitions, basic color correction, and integrating audio elements such as voiceovers and music.

The role also includes collaborating with senior editors,



instructional designers, and marketing teams to meet project briefs and timelines, while maintaining brand guidelines and delivering content optimized for various digital platforms.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing to handle end-to-end editing of training and promotional content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain consistent look and feel across videos.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple visual elements, titles, and overlays that support learning and branding.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work under guidance in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Positive communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with creative, academic, and marketing teams.
- Relevant coursework or a diploma/degree in film, media, communication, or a related field is preferred; internship or project experience in video editing is an advantage.
