About the RoleWe are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Furniture Designer to join our team at Dtale. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of furniture design, technical drawings, and 3D modelling, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed furniture drawings and technical designs.
- Create 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D furniture models and visualisations using SketchUp.
- Prepare furniture sketches, layouts, and design concepts.
- Assist senior designers in developing furniture designs based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with production and other teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
- Make design revisions based on feedback and project requirements.
- Ensure accuracy in dimensions, materials, and technical specifications.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Basic to good working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Ability to prepare furniture drawings, sketches, and layouts.
- Good understanding of dimensions, measurements, and furniture detailing.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
