Experience: 1–2 years of experience in the finance sector The role holder is primarily responsible for gathering data, conducting research to carry out all deliverables as part of the investment cycle from deal origination to exit.
The person will need to ensure that all deliverables are completed on time with accuracy.
Deal Origination and Execution
- Gathering information and inputs and preparing all deliverables as part of the deal origination and sourcing stage i.e. Deal Origination Memo and Business Proposal deck, teaser, due diligence reports, financial model, Investment Memorandum, draft and final Term sheet
- Work with Compliance team to collect all the required documentation and information required as part of the investment cycle i.e. ROC documents, CIBIL scores of promoters, data gathered as part of field visits etc., minutes of meetings with promoters, all required legal documents
- Support Compliance team to gather information during due diligence and resolve any open items during due diligence
- Support the risk team to identify potential risks in investment deal
Deal Monitoring and Deal Exit
- Support in the periodic monitoring of minutes, audit trails and decisions of Investee companies along with Target company’s financials and growth against expansion plans that were set
- Participate in Oversight Committee Meetings to record key points that come out of the meetings
- Preparing memo for exits and support in presenting the same to Investment committee if required
Other Responsibilities
- Recording all decisions relating to the deal in the form of a deal file and doing a periodic quality check of documents filed as part of deal folder
- Supporting activities relating to other deals
- Supporting other Investment team members in their tasks as and when required
