Role Description The Internal Dealer Trainer – Service is a full-time, on-site role based in Kottayam. This role is responsible for designing and delivering service-related training programs for service advisors, technicians, and support staff to ensure consistent application of Kia service standards. Day-to-day activities include conducting classroom and workshop training, preparing training materials and manuals, monitoring participant performance, and providing coaching and feedback to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.

The trainer will collaborate with service managers to identify skill gaps, plan training schedules, and track training outcomes, while maintaining accurate training records and reports.



This role also involves staying updated on Kia service procedures, new models, and technologies, and communicating these updates effectively to the service team.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of automotive service operations, preferably with experience in dealer or workshop environments.
- Effective training and facilitation skills, including the ability to conduct engaging classroom and on-the-job sessions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coach, mentor, and collaborate with diverse service teams.
- Ability to design explicit training materials, presentations, and manuals, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Competence in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, email, presentation tools) for training and reporting.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple training programs and schedules.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on improving customer experience and service quality.
- Relevant diploma or degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a trainer, service advisor, or workshop supervisor role will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kottayam and occasionally travel to other dealership locations if required.
