Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Head of IT to lead the end-to-end IT infrastructure, information security, and technology operations for one of our Client's India GCC in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in global product organizations and GCC environments, with a proven track record of building IT capabilities from the ground up, establishing enterprise-grade infrastructure, and implementing robust security and operational frameworks.

This is a hands-on strategic leadership role requiring strong expertise across IT infrastructure, Security Operations Center (SOC), information security, and enterprise IT operations, along with the ability to partner with global leadership and align India operations with global technology and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

- IT Infrastructure: Build and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud environments, end-user computing, identity and access management, workplace technology, and IT service delivery.
- Security & SOC: Establish and oversee SOC capabilities, security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, threat detection, and security operations in alignment with global security standards.
- Information Security: Lead information security strategy, policies, risk management, security governance, audits, and compliance requirements, including relevant ISO and SOC 2 frameworks.
- GCC Setup: Drive the complete IT setup for the India GCC from the ground up, including infrastructure architecture, technology procurement, vendor management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational readiness.
- Global Stakeholder Management: Partner with global IT, cybersecurity, engineering,



and business leaders to align India IT operations with enterprise-wide standards and strategic priorities.
- Product Organization Experience: Leverage experience in global product companies to support secure, scalable, and business-aligned technology environments.
- Operational Excellence: Establish IT governance, service management processes, SLAs, budgets, and performance metrics while ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.
- Leadership: Build and develop high-performing IT infrastructure, security, and operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

- 15+ years of overall IT experience, with significant leadership experience across infrastructure, information security, and IT operations.
- Strong experience working with global product companies and Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
- Demonstrated success in building IT infrastructure, security frameworks, and operational capabilities from the ground up.
- Hands-on expertise in SOC setup and operations, information security, enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity governance, and risk management.
- Strong understanding of global security and compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing global stakeholders, technology vendors, budgets, and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, execution capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing GCC environment.

The candidate should combine strategic vision with deep technical and operational expertise, with the ability to independently establish a secure, scalable, and globally aligned IT workplace for the India center.
