CV and Essay Editor (Remote) – HKCareers

HKCareers (hkcareers.hk) is a leading career coaching and admissions consulting platform dedicated to helping students and professionals secure top university offers and competitive job placements. We provide expert coaching, application document editing, and career training programs tailored for aspiring professionals in finance, consulting, and other competitive industries.

We are hiring a remote Editor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have excellent written English skills, a strong eye for detail, and a genuine interest in helping clients create outstanding application documents. This role will also involve content creation and editing for marketing materials, as well as occasional administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and refine clients’ application essays, CVs, and cover letters for university and job applications.





- Provide copy editing and proofreading support for marketing and promotional materials, including website content, newsletters, and social media posts.

- Support administrative tasks, such as updating files and coordinating client communications.

- Ensure all written materials meet HKCareers’ qualified tone and high-quality standards.

Requirements

- Excellent command of written English with strong grammar, structure, and editing abilities.

- Bachelor’s degree or above; preferred fields include English, Journalism, Communications, or related disciplines.

- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet multiple deadlines.

- Experience in editing, writing, or academic consulting is a plus.

- Self-motivated, responsive, and comfortable working remotely.

Work Type: Full-time, remote (work from home)

Remuneration: Competitive monthly salary based on experience
