Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Freight Forwarding – Sales Support and Pricing professional. The role involves preparing competitive freight quotations, coordinating with carriers and agents for rates, and supporting the sales team with timely and accurate pricing information. Daily responsibilities include managing customer inquiries, maintaining rate and service databases, tracking shipments, and ensuring proper documentation for exports and other forwarding activities.

The individual will liaise with operations and customer service teams to align pricing with service commitments, follow up on leads, and help convert opportunities into confirmed shipments.



The position requires consistent communication with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth execution of freight solutions and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Freight Forwarding and Forwarding, with an understanding of international logistics processes.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Export procedures and documentation, including familiarity with trade terms and compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service abilities focused on responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining professional relationships.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Freight Transportation, including modes, transit times, and cost structures.
- Relevant experience in sales support, pricing, or logistics coordination within freight forwarding or transportation is preferred.
- Solid analytical and numerical skills for rate comparison, margin calculation, and cost analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic use of logistics or ERP systems; ability to manage and update data accurately.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
