ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Field Operations Manager to manage and coordinate our team of field engineers and technicians. The role involves workforce planning, task allocation, productivity monitoring, service execution, and ensuring timely completion of assigned jobs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and coordinate field engineers and technicians.
- Allocate daily jobs based on priority, location, technician availability, and business requirements.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and daily team performance.
- Track job status and ensure timely completion of field activities.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams for smooth service execution.
- Resolve technician-related issues and day-to-day operational challenges.
- Prepare and maintain daily MIS reports and technician performance records.
- Build and maintain a reliable network of technicians and field resources.
- Ensure adherence to company processes, SOPs, and service standards.
- Identify operational gaps and implement improvements to increase field efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3–6 years of experience in field operations, service operations, or technician management.
- Experience managing field engineers or technicians is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel, MIS reporting, and field-service or ticketing systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to handle field-related issues and travel locally when required.
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree required.
MBA/PGDM in Operations or a related field will be an added advantage.
