Role Description The Field Application Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru. This role involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support to customers, including product selection, application analysis, and troubleshooting.

The Field Application

Engineer will visit customer sites, demonstrate solutions, conduct technical presentations, and collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities and develop proposals. Daily responsibilities include interpreting circuit and system requirements, advising on analog and electronic component usage, preparing documentation, and coordinating with internal teams for timely resolution of customer issues.



The role also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product portfolios, market trends, and industry standards to support customers effectively.

Qualifications

- Strong field applications and technical support skills, with experience in customer-facing engineering roles.
- Hands-on knowledge of analog circuits and general electronics, including component-level understanding.
- Ability to support sales activities, including technical pre-sales, product demonstrations, and solution proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively on-site with customers.
- Familiarity with industrial automation, controls, or related systems is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally for customer visits and technical support engagements.
