About the Role

This is an exciting chance to lead talented engineers, build scalable cloud data platforms, and drive innovation across Disney’s streaming and digital businesses, including Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN.

? Key Responsibilities

Drive platform innovation, automation, and data engineering efficiency.

Lead architectural design, technical documentation, and system design initiatives.

Mentor and develop engineering teams while fostering a culture of collaboration.

Partner with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Improve platform performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

? Key Skills & Qualifications

Strong expertise in Python,



Java, or TypeScript.

Experience with Airflow, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, or OpenSearch.

Understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms, and data engineering.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in data governance, metadata management, and platform optimization is a plus.
