Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Elevator Technician role based in Mumbai.

The Elevator

Technician is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance on elevators, including inspection, lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of parts to ensure safe and reliable operation. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, responding to service calls, and carrying out repairs in accordance with company standards and safety regulations. The technician will perform testing after maintenance or repair, document work performed, and communicate clearly with supervisors, customers, and team members.

The position may include participation in scheduled shifts, emergency call-outs,



and collaborative work with other technicians on complex installations or refurbishments.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Elevator Maintenance and general Maintenance & Repair of vertical transportation systems.
- Candidates should possess technical knowledge of Elevators, including components, safety mechanisms, and control systems.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess solid understanding of Electricity, electrical circuits, and safe work practices for powered equipment.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering (or equivalent vocational training).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
- Commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and handle tools and equipment as required.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in elevator or lift maintenance is preferred but not mandatory for suitably qualified candidates.
