Role Description This is a full-time, in office Edc Field Sales Executive role based in Rasulabad. In this position, the team member will visit merchants and local businesses to promote Paytm’s EDC (Electronic Data Capture) and payment solutions, explain product features, and support onboarding and activation. The role includes meeting daily and weekly sales targets, conducting product demonstrations, and maintaining solid relationships with existing and prospective merchants.

Executive will collect market feedback, report field activities, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve merchant issues promptly.



The role also involves maintaining accurate records of visits, leads, and conversions while representing Paytm professionally in the field.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse merchants and stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of digital payments, POS/EDC devices, and financial services, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time efficiently, and meet performance targets.
- Comfort with using smartphones, mobile apps, and basic office software for reporting and tracking activities.
- Previous field sales or on-ground business development experience is preferred, especially in fintech, banking, or retail.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; a graduate degree in business or related fields is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel locally within Rasulabad and surrounding areas as required for merchant visits.
