? Position Details

? Job Title: Deputy General Manager – RES (Solar)

? Location: Pune, Maharashtra

? Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline. A postgraduate qualification in Project Management or Business Management will be an advantage.

? Experience: 6–12 Years in Solar Renewable Energy Projects

? Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

⚡ Key Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end planning and execution of solar projects, from project kick-off through commissioning, handover, and close-out.
2. Manage project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, risks, and overall project performance.
3. Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
4. Review technical drawings, BOQs, project specifications, and method statements to ensure compliance with project requirements.
5. Monitor project costs, cash flow, procurement commitments, billing milestones, contractual deliverables, and variations.
6. Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, EPC partners, OEMs, vendors, and other stakeholders.
7. Lead and mentor project managers, engineers,



and site teams while ensuring accountability and effective coordination.
8. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, statutory requirements, and project documentation.
9. Prepare project progress reports, MIS, and management updates to support effective decision-making.

? What We’re Looking For

✅ 6–12 years of relevant experience in solar renewable energy projects, preferably in project management, EPC execution, engineering, construction, or commissioning.

✅ Robust understanding of utility-scale Solar PV projects, electrical systems, evacuation infrastructure, and balance-of-system components.

✅ Proven expertise in project planning, budgeting, cost control, risk management, and resource utilization.

✅ Good commercial understanding of contracts, billing, variation management, and vendor negotiations.

✅ Excellent leadership, client management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

✅ Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, or equivalent project scheduling and reporting tools.

✅ Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate effectively across functions.
