Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Counselor role based in the Greater Vadodara Area. The Counselor will meet and interact with prospective students and families, understand their academic background and career goals, and provide guidance on suitable countries, universities, and courses. Daily tasks include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, explaining admission requirements, application processes, and scholarship options, and assisting students in preparing and organizing application documents.

The role involves maintaining accurate student records, following up on inquiries, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth application and admission journey.



The Counselor will also participate in education fairs, seminars, and outreach activities, while consistently promoting AECC’s services in a professional and ethical manner.

Qualifications

- Strong student counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand individual aspirations and provide clear, unbiased guidance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, presentation abilities, and a customer-focused approach.
- Organizational and administrative skills to manage multiple student cases, documentation, and timelines effectively.
- Basic understanding of international education systems, admission procedures, and visa processes, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Proficiency in common office software and digital tools used for CRM, documentation, and online communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, with a skilled attitude and high ethical standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in student counseling, sales, or customer service in the education sector is preferred but not mandatory.
