Read This Before You Apply

This role is for people who have already made memes for brands in an agency or professional setting. If your meme experience is limited to a personal page or a hobby, we love you, but this isn’t the role for you right now. We need someone who can handle client briefs, approvals, brand guidelines, and deadlines from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Creating original, platform-native meme content for client and in-house channels (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Threads, YouTube Shorts)
- Turning dry client briefs into shareable, on-brand content that still performs
- Planning and executing meme marketing campaigns, including trend-jacking, real-time marketing, and calendar-based content
- Pitching ideas in brainstorms and presenting concepts to the strategy team
- Tracking meme formats, trends, and cultural moments, and acting on them within hours, not days
- Adapting content across platforms, audiences, and brand tones
- Reviewing performance metrics (reach, shares, saves, engagement) and improving what works

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves:





- 1-3 years of experience at a meme marketing agency, social media agency, or digital agency (brand-side meme experience at a D2C or startup with an in-house social team may also be considered)
- A portfolio of live client work, with links to memes or campaigns you personally created (mandatory)
- Experience managing multiple clients or brand voices at once
- Sharp, funny short-form copywriting in English and/or Hinglish
- Working skills in Canva, Photoshop, Figma, or similar, plus basic video editing for reels/shorts
- Strong grasp of Gen Z and Millennial humor, pop culture, and meme formats
- Comfort working with client feedback, approvals, and tight turnarounds

Bonus points:

- Memes that crossed 1M+ views or earned notable brand engagement
- Experience with real-time marketing (cricket, Bollywood, OTT, news cycles)
- Regional language or dialect content (Punjabi, Haryanvi, Marathi, Tamil, etc.)
- Experience with influencer/creator collaborations or meme page partnerships
- Understanding of the BFSI, FMCG, tech, or D2C brand space
