Role Description The Consultant Critical Care will provide comprehensive clinical care to critically ill patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing monitoring in alignment with established protocols.

Responsibilities include managing acute emergencies, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and ensuring safe transitions between intensive care, step-down units, and home or elder care services when appropriate. The role involves supervising and mentoring junior medical staff, nurses, and allied health professionals, and contributing to training initiatives aimed at improving critical care standards.



The Consultant will also participate in case discussions, quality assurance activities, and documentation to maintain high clinical and ethical standards.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in West Delhi.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, with strong clinical decision-making skills in acute and intensive care settings.
- Experience in Home Care and Elder Care, including continuity of care planning and coordination of support services for vulnerable patient groups.
- Ability to provide Training and clinical guidance to medical, nursing, and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and patient safety.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and relevant postgraduate qualification in critical care or internal medicine, with valid registration from the appropriate medical council.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practice and non-discriminatory, patient-centered care.
- Prior experience in a hospital-based critical care environment in West Delhi or similar urban settings is an advantage.
