Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commission Sales Associate role based in Coimbatore.

The Commission Sales

Associate will engage directly with community members, explain TVK’s vision and initiatives, and promote membership or participation in TVK programs. Daily tasks include meeting prospective supporters, conducting outreach activities, maintaining records of contacts and conversions, and coordinating with team leaders to achieve sales and engagement targets. The role also involves following up with interested individuals, collecting feedback from the field, and representing TVK professionally at events, meetings, and local gatherings.





The associate will work closely with internal teams to share insights from the community and contribute to strategies that increase membership and public support.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and clearly with diverse community members.
- Candidates should possess basic sales and persuasion skills, including the ability to explain initiatives, handle objections, and work toward measurable commission-based targets.
- Candidates should possess organizational and record-keeping skills, such as maintaining contact lists, tracking conversions, and reporting daily activities accurately.
- Candidates should possess local language proficiency (Tamil) and functional English skills to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
- Candidates should possess a customer-service mindset, with the ability to listen actively, build trust, and represent TVK’s values with integrity.
- Ability to work on-site across Coimbatore neighborhoods, including occasional evening or weekend outreach, as needed.
- Prior experience in sales, field marketing, political or social campaigns, or community outreach is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification: Higher secondary or equivalent; a diploma or degree in any discipline is an advantage.
