Role Description The Cluster Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing the performance and operations of multiple retail stores within an assigned cluster. This role involves leading and mentoring store managers, ensuring adherence to operational standards, and driving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction across locations.

The Cluster

Manager will monitor key performance indicators, manage inventory and merchandising execution, and coordinate promotional activities in alignment with company strategies. Day-to-day tasks include conducting regular store visits,



reviewing financial and operational reports, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety, legal, and company policies. The role also requires close collaboration with central functions such as merchandising, supply chain, HR, and finance to support seamless operations and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

- Strong retail operations management skills, including multi-store oversight, process implementation, and performance monitoring.
- Experience in people leadership, including coaching store managers, building high-performing teams, and driving accountability.
- Proficiency in sales and business analysis, with the ability to interpret KPIs, manage budgets, and optimize profitability.
- Skills in inventory control, merchandising execution, and demand planning within a fast-paced retail environment.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building capabilities across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work on-site across multiple store locations, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Prior experience as an Area Manager, Cluster Manager, or equivalent role in retail, FMCG, or hypermarket formats preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Comfort with using retail management systems, POS data, and basic MS Office tools for reporting and analysis.
- Commitment to customer-centric service, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement in operations.
