We're hiring: Chief Financial Officer | Effingut Breweries | Pune

Effingut is one of India's fastest-growing craft beer businesses, with a turnover of ₹130 Cr and strong momentum. As we scale, our finance function must keep pace. We are looking for a seasoned CFO to lead it, and to help take Effingut to the public markets within the next two years.

What you will do

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team, ensuring accurate, timely day-to-day accounting and closing
- Own statutory, tax and regulatory compliance, including excise and GST
- Manage surplus cash and treasury actively to maximise returns and protect liquidity
- Drive tight control over inventory and stock, from raw materials to finished goods
- Build robust financial controls, SOPs, MIS, budgeting and forecasting for a high-growth business
- Partner with the founders and board on strategy, fundraising and investor relations
- Lead IPO readiness: governance, audit, disclosures and engagement with bankers and advisors

Must haves

- Chartered Accountant with 15+ years of experience,



of which at least 5 years in a lead role in a finance function
- Hands-on knowledge of funds management and treasury
- Deep knowledge of ERP systems
- Experience setting up SOPs and ensuring they are followed across the team
- Ability to engage with investors and bankers and set the company up for an IPO
- Direct experience in an IPO process
- Strong command of working capital and inventory management

Valuable to have

- Experience in FMCG, alcobev, F&B; or manufacturing
- A sharp, decisive style, comfortable with pace, ambiguity and accountability
